Named Accountable GP for All Patients

Every patient has been allocated a named GP who is responsible for your overall care at the practice. If you would like to know who your named GP is, please contact reception and they will be happy to inform you.

If you wish to change the name of your accountable GP, please let us know and we will make every  reasonable effort to accommodate this request.

Having a named accountable GP does not restrict your entitlement to see any doctor in the practice.

Appointments during the Coronavirus Pandemic

During the coronavirus pandemic, all GP appointments will be by telephone.

To make a telephone appointment, please call us on 01726 890 370.  Our reception staff will take brief details and make a telephone appointment with the most appropriate member of our team.

diaryHOW TO SEE THE DOCTOR/NURSE

All consultations to see a doctor/nurse are by appointment, made by telephoning 01726 890370 or by using the online booking request on this website.

Young People

In most cases, patients under the age of 16 years may want to attend with a parent or legal guardian.

However, this is not a requirement.

Should any young person require an appointment, you will be treated with the same dignity and respect whether alone or accompanied.  If you require privacy please ask at reception and you will be directed to an appropriate location.

AN URGENT APPOINTMENT

Urgent requests to be seen on the same day will be dealt with as necessary, though you may have to be prepared to wait.

111 online

The online service is now available across England.

People visit 111.nhs.uk, enter their age, sex, postcode and main symptom and are then asked a series of questions about their health problem.

They can:

  • find out how to get the right healthcare in their area, including whether they need to see a GP or seek urgent care
  • get advice on self-care
  • in most areas, get a call back from a nurse, doctor or other trained health professional if they need it

Benefits of 111 online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for patients to access 111 digitally.

It is one of several digital NHS services that are empowering people to manage their own health and care.

People can also access 111 online through the new NHS App.
